Mountain States Wholesale Nursery is a breathtaking wholesale nursery sitting on 600 acres located in Cochise County. Specializing in drought tolerant plants, they offer a wide variety of desert native trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, accents, flowering perennials, groundcovers, and vines to the wholesale market. For this photo shoot, I focused on the layered textures and colors provided by the beautiful array of plants, mountain backdrop, and monsoon clouds. A telephoto lens is my favorite way to shoot for this layered effect, as the lens “compresses” or flattens the image. Special thanks to Strategic Habitat Enhancements for facilitating the trip!
