NW Hummingbird Haven Garden – Update

So much can take place over the course of a year – new seasons bring plant growth, diverse blooms, and different pollinator visitors to the garden. In this updated post to the NW Hummingbird Haven Garden, I include some of my favorite photos of this desert acre property.

Whether you’re visiting this garden in spring’s explosion of color or in the dramatic light of the monsoon seasons, each time of year tells a different story. I love photographing how light changes — from the warm, golden hues of early morning and late evening to the softer, diffuse light after summer rains or on overcast days that reveals textures and detail.

For clients who hire me, I tailor sessions to the season and lighting conditions — planning shoots around peak blooms, optimal natural light, and the unique characteristics of your space throughout the year. Whether you’d like photos of spring blossoms, wide garden scenes at golden hour, or intimate close-ups of pollinators in action, I work with the rhythms of nature to create images that celebrate both your garden’s ecology and its impact.
